DCC Climate Control AC & Heating is a residential HVAC company built by a technician, not a sales team. Omar has 8 years in the HVAC trade: a trade school certificate in air conditioning and heating, EPA certification, and years of hands-on work at a large HVAC company before he opened his own business.

Unlike heating and air conditioning companies that split their time with commercial jobs, we work only on homes. Every hour of our experience goes into the heating and AC problems Texas homeowners face each summer and each freeze. Whether you need heat and air repair, a seasonal tune-up, or a new system, you'll see photos of what failed and hear your options before you spend a dollar. That's the difference among HVAC companies you'll notice on the first visit.

Honest HVAC Repair: We Fix What's Broken, Not What Sells

Got a quote for a new system? Read this first.

The most common problem in this industry isn't a part. It's homeowners being told to replace a whole system when one component failed. A bad capacitor or a worn fan motor doesn't justify new equipment. When replacement does make sense — like a failed compressor on an older system — we'll tell you that too, and show you why. Every HVAC repair service call starts the same way: we look at your system's age, its maintenance history, and the real condition of its parts.

"Most of the assessments from the large AC companies indicated a full system change given the age. Most quotes resulted in north of $30K. Omar was very detailed… and recommend coil replacements and other improvements. All at about 25-30% of others quotes."

— Migs M., Google review

Get a Second Opinion Before You Replace

It Was the Capacitor, Not the Compressor

We regularly meet homeowners holding a quote for a new compressor or a whole system. When we inspect, the real problem is often a capacitor — a part that costs a fraction of a compressor. Omar tells those clients exactly that:

"Your problem was the capacitor. Your system is fine and it is not old. You do not need to replace it."

Five Technicians Later, It Was Just Disconnected

Some homeowners call us after several companies have already been out. With that many hands on one system, nobody knows what was disconnected or why. We start from zero: reconnect what should be connected, test every component, and run a full inspection. More often than you'd think, the answer is simple:

"Your system doesn't need to be replaced. It was just disconnected."

Photos of Every Part, Explained in Plain Words

You won't be standing next to us in a 150°F attic, so we photograph every step. When we're done, we sit down with you: what we found, what we replaced or recommend replacing, and what that part does in your system. You'll understand every dollar before you pay it.

Why DCC

Why Homeowners Choose Our Heating and Cooling Company

✓

2-Year Labor Warranty on Every Installation

Most companies stop at 1 year of labor coverage. We give you 2 years on complete installations, and we register every new system with the manufacturer to activate its 10-year parts warranty. Major repairs carry a 1-year labor warranty. We can offer more because we trust our own work.

✓

Free Estimates With Zero Pressure

Inside our primary service area, we inspect your system, hand you a detailed written estimate, and you decide — no obligation, no follow-up pressure. Outside that area, a $75 service call fee applies, and we credit it back if you go ahead with the work. Seniors get a discount, too.

✓

Built for 150°F Texas Attics

In a Texas summer, attics can pass 150°F, and your ductwork runs right through that heat. We check the duct insulation, every boot and connection, and the seal on your supply, so the cold air you pay for actually reaches your rooms.

✓

A Bilingual Family Team You Can Trust

Our technicians are Omar's own family, trained by him from the ground up. No subcontractors, ever. Every technician can explain your diagnosis in English or Spanish. And we carry general liability insurance on every job.

The Owner

Meet Omar, the Technician Behind DCC Climate Control

Omar learned the trade the formal way: a trade school certificate in air conditioning and heating and EPA certification to handle refrigerants. Then came years at a large HVAC company, with days that ran up to 15 hours. When clients started calling him directly, he opened his own company — to put his family first and give every homeowner more personal, honest service.

"My philosophy is simple: trust first, business second. At the end of every job, I tell the client: 'Thank you for choosing me. You will not regret it. We will be here whenever you need us.'"

We check the whole system ourselves — capacitors, refrigerant charge, coils, motors, and drain lines — instead of guessing from someone else's diagnosis.

3. Your Options, Explained and in Writing

You see the photos, hear your repair and replacement options, and get a written estimate with the brand, specs, materials, and total cost. No surprises on the final bill.

4. Work Done Right and Backed by Warranty

We test pressures and operation before we leave, and we clean up after ourselves. If something related to our work fails, we come back.

Questions About DCC Climate Control

Mon–Sat, 6 AM–7 PM · English & Spanish spoken · After-hours emergency help

What does DCC Climate Control AC & Heating do?

We're a residential AC company and heating contractor based in Little Elm, Texas. We repair air conditioners and furnaces, install new systems and ductless mini-splits, and do seasonal maintenance for homes across North DFW. Our owner, Omar, has 8 years in the HVAC trade and trains every technician on our team himself. We don't take commercial jobs, so all of our focus goes into the problems Texas homeowners face, from 100°F summers to winter freezes.

What areas does DCC Climate Control serve?

We serve homes within about an hour's drive of our base in Little Elm. Our primary area includes Little Elm, Frisco, Celina, Prosper, Aubrey, Providence Village, and Denton, where estimates are free. We also serve McKinney, Allen, Plano, Dallas, and Mesquite. If you live outside these cities, call us at (469) 379-5604 and we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Are you certified and insured?

Yes. Omar earned his certificate in air conditioning and heating at a technical trade school and holds EPA certification, which federal law requires to handle refrigerants. Every technician on our team was trained by Omar himself, and we carry general liability insurance, so your home and property are protected while we work. Before you hire any HVAC company, it's worth asking about training, certification, and insurance.

Do you charge for estimates?

Inside our primary service area, estimates are free and come with no obligation. We come to your home, inspect the whole system, and give you a written estimate with the brand, specs, materials, and total cost. Then you decide, with no pressure from us. Outside our primary area, or if you're not sure you'll move forward, there's a $75 service call fee, and we deduct it from your total if you hire us for the work.

What warranty do you offer?

On complete installations, we give a 2-year labor warranty, double the 1 year most companies offer. We also register every new system with the manufacturer to activate its 10-year parts warranty. Major repairs carry a 1-year labor warranty. If a problem comes up that's related to work we did, we come back and take care of it. A new problem unrelated to our work is treated as a new service call with its own diagnosis.

Do you speak Spanish? ¿Hablan español?

Yes — sí. Our whole team is bilingual in English and Spanish. You can talk to us in whichever language you're most comfortable with, and your technician will explain the diagnosis, the options, and the estimate clearly in either one. For many families in North DFW, that makes a real difference when you're deciding on a repair or a new system and want to understand every detail before you sign.

What AC and furnace brands do you work with?

We service and install all major brands. Carrier is the brand we install most often and the one Omar has the most experience with, including high-efficiency lines like Carrier Infinity. We're not tied to any manufacturer as a dealer, so we can recommend and install whatever brand fits your home and budget, and we follow the same installation process every time, no matter the brand.

Do you offer financing?

Not at this time. Instead, we give you a detailed written estimate so you can compare your options calmly, without pressure. In many cases, an honest diagnosis is the biggest saving: a repair that keeps a system in good condition running for another 2 to 3 years can cost far less than the full replacement another company quoted. If replacement truly is the better choice, we'll explain why in writing.

Why choose DCC over larger air conditioning companies?

With some larger air conditioning companies, you see a new face on every visit, and a full-system quote can come fast. With us, you get Omar and his family team, the same people who get to know your system. We photograph every part, explain what failed, and give you both options: repair and replacement. One customer told us the large companies quoted over $30K for a new system; we replaced his coils for a fraction of that.

What are your business hours?

We're open Monday through Saturday, 6 AM to 7 PM, so you can schedule early before work or later in the afternoon. Outside those hours, we still help with emergencies when you're within a reasonable distance of our base, with a surcharge of only 15% over our regular rate. We're not a 24/7 call center, but when you call after hours with a real emergency, Omar does everything he can to help.

Do you work on commercial HVAC systems?

No. We work only on residential air conditioning and heating. We don't split our time with commercial buildings or industrial refrigeration, so everything we know is focused on home systems: central AC, gas furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits. That focus is why we can diagnose home systems precisely, from a weak capacitor to ductwork losing cold air in a 150°F Texas attic.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. We offer a discount for seniors, because many older homeowners live on a fixed income and still need a working AC in a Texas summer. We also offer a combo price for clients who book both yearly maintenance visits, one before summer and one before winter. Ask about either when you call us at (469) 379-5604, and we'll explain how it works for your home.

Still have questions?

Call Omar directly. You'll talk to the technician, not a call center.
